EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Photographer Albert Chong joins the WonderRoot Podcast to discuss his early life growing up in Jamaica and some of the important decisions that shaped his 30-year career as he moved to and throughout the United States. Chong also highlights some of the challenges he faced in the art industry as a black artist, and what inspires him to move back to Jamaica in the near future.

This conversation was recorded at the Hammonds House Museum, and is presented in conjunction with their upcoming exhibition, "Absolute Chong":
